"Wah Gwaan" ? As we come close to the new year we start looking at how to be better, and how to get healthier. Well, I've come up with a great way for us to start off new through comfy CARIBBEAN FOODS!! For the next 4 weeks we will meet twice a week, 1 day for lecture and 1 day to cook. You will prepare 4 island favorites from my homeland Jamaica and swap out some ingredients for more nutrient-dense plant base ingredients!
During this session we discuss and learn more about:
* Animal Products: the nutrient quality in commercial animal products and how it impairs the body.
* Processed Foods: you'll discover how processed foods & food additives affect the body and the power of whole foods.
* Pesticides: Clean 15 and Dirty Dozen
